About This Project

This beautiful period property located in a rural village close to Stamford, Northamptonshire was surrounded by an array of mature trees and featured an orchard, natural open meadow areas and expansive productive area. The garden however lacked colour and year round interest, so a design was commissioned to enhance and unite the various garden spaces and bring to life the planting beds. Several planting areas of the site were redesigned and restocked, however the main focus of the design work was to the rear of the property with the creation of a new terrace and planting areas incorporating luxurious sawn Yorkstone, natural stone walling and specimen trees. What was previously an open area of lawn has now become a focal area of the garden bursting with colour and interest throughout the year.
