About This Project

Located on an exclusive road in Cambridge, this modernist property underwent a full refurbishment and improvement to enhance its bold design and create a truly unique family home in heart of the town. Working in conjunction with PIP Architecture, we were commissioned to complete the full design, planning and tender package for the clients. From here we worked closely with the main contractor to project manage the landscape construction through to completion.

At the heart of the garden is a sunken seating area which was created in the shell of the old swimming pool and this links to the main dining and swimming pool area. As the site had a number of mature trees and was located within a conservation area, careful consideration was required to ensure sensitive design and construction methods were adopted across the site. This was especially critical in the driveway area when implementing a resin bound gravel and block paving surface all with minimal interference to surrounding trees. The final stage of the project was to supply and install all soft landscaping to add the texture and interest throughout the year using to complement this stunning contemporary property.
