About Tristen

Tristen Knight Director

Tristen has been designing gardens since 2008 – he has contributed to and created a huge range of gardens, including medal winning show gardens at RHS Chelsea Flower Show and RHS Tatton Park. From Sprawling country estates; to family orientated outdoor entertaining spaces; to cosy urban courtyards, Tristen Knight Garden Design Co can offer a solution for most situations.

His portfolio of work includes domestic and commercial projects, collaborating with architects, interior designers, working with council planning departments and high end developers. Tristen grew up in a farming community, and has a great passion for the countryside and outdoor living. With his interest in engineering, a degree in Industrial Design and Technology and his garden design qualifications and experience, he is able to combine his creative flair with an eye for detail, specifying gardens which can be tendered for accurately and built accordingly.

Tristen’s skills and expertise won him the RHS Young Designer of the Year title in 2012 with his Show Garden ‘Brownfield Beauty’ and he was awarded a prestigious RHS Silver Gilt medal.

Tristen Knight Garden Design Co is based near Saffron Walden, Essex. He takes on projects locally and across the South-East of England. He is happy to travel further afield and would be pleased to speak with you about any project, no matter how big or small. Get in touch if you would like us to bring your ideas to life.
